Where it started
MedixCare's hospital network ran appointments through phone lines that were busy at peak hours, driving patients to competitors. Lab results required a physical visit to collect, and no-show rates hovered near 20%.
Healthcare data privacy requirements ruled out generic booking tools — everything had to meet hospital-grade security standards and integrate with the existing hospital information system.
What we built
We designed and built a Flutter app for iOS and Android covering the full patient journey: doctor discovery, slot booking, payment, reminders, digital lab results, and video consultations for follow-ups.
Deep integration with the hospital information system meant real-time slot availability and instant result publishing — no duplicate data entry for staff. Automated reminders with one-tap rescheduling cut no-shows by nearly half.
